Former
Charlotte Mayor Richard Vinroot joins
N.C.
Property Rights Coalition Board of Directors
CHARLOTTE,
N.C. – Former Charlotte Mayor Richard Vinroot has joined the Board
of Directors of the N.C. Property Rights Coalition, Chairman Kieran
Shanahan has announced. Vinroot was the Republican Party’s nominee
for governor in 2000.
"We
are grateful that someone with Richard Vinroot's history of public
service has joined our team," said Shanahan. "On behalf of property
owners all across North Carolina, I thank Richard Vinroot for taking
a public stand in defense of our private property."
"Private property ownership is an important part of our free
society," said Vinroot. "We must join together to ensure that
government respects and protects the rights of property owners. I
am glad to be part of this important effort."

non-profit coalition of individuals, organizations, businesses and
